Hi, I’m Allison and my nickname is Swan. I love ceramics and anything art related. My love of ceramics started in high school when I took the ceramics course offered at my school, the teacher was Mr. Pat Palmer. I would’ve spent all my time in the studio errr classroom if I was allowed. When I finished school I happened upon a kiln and then someone made me an electric wheel out of a right angle drill. That was all she wrote! My studio has changed a lot over the years, but those two pieces of equipment have been staples no matter what the studio surrounding them looked like.

My studio is less of a hobby and more of an inconsistent obsession. When I have time in my busy life I am in my studio. My obsession really does encompass many art forms though. The name SWAN’S SPIRItUAL StUDIOS – with an “s” – is because on any given day you may find me: painting rocks or performing landscape art outside, taking photographs and photoshopping them, using mixed media on canvas, singing and creating the art of music, recording and editing videos or, of course, playing with clay (my favorite).
